Alba Rocío Romero García is a prominent international leader with extensive experience in diplomacy, human rights, and multilateral cooperation. She currently serves as Concurrent Ambassador to the United States and the European Union, focusing on international business, hydrocarbons, and foreign trade, representing the National Federation of Regional Councils (FEDECORE), an organization that unites and represents the NARP population and vulnerable communities in Latin America.

In this role, she promotes political dialogue, international cooperation, and social inclusion among Latin America, the United States, and the European Union.

She also serves as the Director General for Colombia of the International Human Rights Commission Global (IHRCG), leading strategies for humanitarian diplomacy, the protection of social leaders, and institutional strengthening in support of global peace and justice.
