Throughout history, women have faced various forms of discrimination and violence that have limited their access to opportunities and resources, and hindered their full participation in political, economic, social and cultural life. Gender equality is not only a human right, but also an indispensable condition for sustainable development and social justice.<\/p><p>Women's rights cover a wide range of areas, including equal opportunities in education and employment, protection from gender-based violence, access to appropriate health care, and equal participation in decision-making. These rights are recognized in numerous international instruments, such as the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW), which establishes the obligations of States to guarantee gender equality and protect the rights of women in all the spheres of life.<\/p><p>At the IHRCG, we work to eliminate all forms of discrimination and violence against women, promoting their full participation and empowerment in all areas. We support initiatives that seek to guarantee equal opportunities, protect reproductive and sexual rights, and provide access to justice for victims of gender violence. We believe that the empowerment of women is fundamental to creating just and equitable societies, and we are dedicated to promoting and defending their rights around the world.
